About us
MBC First Aid & Safety is the trading name of MBC Finance (Pty) Ltd. MBC First Aid & Safety is a reseller. Products, first aid kits and refill kits are supplied as received from our suppliers. We do not manufacture, assemble or repack these products. Quotations
Prices are quoted in South African Rand. A written quotation is valid for the period shown on the issued quotation itself; after that we will happily confirm or re-quote. Any applicable VAT is shown on the quotation.
Orders and supplier sourcing
Most products are sourced from our suppliers after you order. Placing an order request does not create a binding supply agreement: we first confirm supplier availability and a delivery estimate, and only then issue an invoice with EFT payment instructions. If an item is unavailable we will tell you and you owe nothing for it.
Payment
Payment is by EFT to the bank account shown on your invoice, using the invoice number as the payment reference. Goods are dispatched only after cleared funds have been received and verified by our team — we dispatch within 3 working days of cleared payment, and courier transit time is additional. A deposit is required only where individually quoted to you in writing — we do not apply a blanket deposit.
Lead times
We dispatch within 3 working days of cleared payment. Courier transit time is additional to dispatch time and depends on your delivery address. Transit estimates are confirmed per order once supplier availability has been checked; they are given in good faith and are not guaranteed fixed dates.
Delivery
Orders are dispatched within 3 working days of cleared payment; courier transit time is additional. Within South Africa, standard delivery is R120.00 including VAT when the goods subtotal (excluding VAT) is below R500.00, and free when the goods subtotal is R500.00 or more excluding VAT. We supply and deliver within South Africa only. Overseas customers may arrange collection by their own appointed courier from a collection point confirmed by us. The buyer is responsible for all international transport, export and import arrangements, customs clearance, duties and related costs. Collection is subject to confirmed availability and cleared payment. Any applicable South African VAT will be shown on the quotation.
Returns and refunds
Our returns, refunds and cooling-off terms are set out in our Returns and Refunds Policy, including your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
